Long ago I'd prepared the standard adventuring standby...
A ten-foot pole.
A fifty-foot rope.
Because why the heck not?

First things first, I pick up a big enough rock
and tie down one end of the rope.
Then, back to the treeline we go!

And loop!
Vine goes around one claw.
No, not yet... give it plenty of slack.

"Come on, CRAB KING! Chop! Chop!"
I throw smaller rocks and fallen branches at it for motivation.
... come to think of it, maybe it's convenient.
It's saving me a lot of time chopping down trees for logs and kindling.
