David Lapadat

Born on 20 August 1994 , David Lapadat is a romanian musician, singer, composer, lyricist and band leader. He attended George Enescu music highschool from Bucharest between 2001-2009 where he studied classical piano and guitar. In 2009 he was accepted at CNSS( Saint Sava National College) the best highschool in Romania, at the mathematics-informatics class, and finished his studies in 2013. During his highschool years David Lapadat participated at various folk and rock festivals as a solo artist where he recieved awards for best original song and best performance. In November 2013 David Lapadat was invited by Imagine Festival to perform in Zagreb in an International showcase on behalf of Romania.
In 2012 David Lapadat attended a one week masterclass in Jazz Big Band in Weikersheim, Germany, where he played as rhythm guitarist in the local Big Band at the final showcase.
In 2014 David Lapadat attended a songwriting masterclass at the Institute of Contemporary Music in London and played in the final showcase performing his songs.
From 2013 David Lapadat is studying composition at the Music University of Bucharest (UNMB) at the jazz-pop section. He also started studying Inernational relations at the prestigious Bucharest University.
In 2014 and 2015 David Lapadat submited every year a song for Eurovision selection in Romania. ( The explosive country-jazz song "I love you" in 2014 and a touching rock-ballad in 2015 " I'm still loving you").
Currently David Lapadat is concerting with his bands, both David's Pack and D-Essentials, bringing to the public modern shows of jazz, rock, performance, poetry and more.
