Mz. Rockastella

Mz. Rockastella aka Black Queen of Hearts, is a hip hop artist from Sydney Australia. She initially started writing lyrics from the age of 9 starting her journey as a singer and song writer. Her talent originated from the daily pressures of being bullied in school, she found music to be an escape from these pressures. She was found by a record label for unsigned artists in 2013 via Youtube.

The record label dealt mostly with Hip Hop artists, consequently the genre found itself having a meaningful impact on her life. Mz. Rockastella found that she could best convey herself in this genre, illustrating and depicting her struggles in a cryptic manner in her lyrics while also using a sense of satire to dull down indicative connotations relating to her struggles. She started pursuing her career in rap in 2014. Her current aims are to get faster in executing words and becoming a voice for young women who have gone through the struggles of bullying and oppression. She is currently working independently to release tracks with various producers.
